Operation of the RS MUP named after the Jewish tribe Reuben, which was "wiped off the face of the earth"!

The operation in which more than 30 Bosniaks were arrested in the smaller BiH entity by the RS MUP had the code name Ruben, writes the Patria news agency.

On social media and forums, some history experts have claimed that this name is not coincidental, and in translation it means tribe.

Namely, some 2,700 years ago, the Assyrians expelled the Ten Tribes of the Kingdom of Israel. These tribes, among which the most numerous was the tribe of Reuben, lived in the northern Kingdom of Israel and completely disappeared.

Defeated by the Assyrian king Shalmaneser V, they were taken to Upper Mesopotamia and Media, present-day Syria and Iraq, and never returned.

It is possible to find several explanations about the origin of the name Ruben. Some of them are derived from Arabic expressions meaning „replacement“ or „chief“. However, today the most widespread interpretation is the one that derives this name from the Hebrew expression „behold a son“.

- Take a look at the Jewish tribe Reuben/Reuben and how they were expelled and wiped out into dungeons! Today, Bosniaks are similarly expelled and arrested without any reason – was one of the comments on the forum.

Incidentally, in the operation "Ruben" conducted by the RS MUP, 31 persons were arrested, and after questioning at the RS Special Prosecutor's Office, detention was proposed for eight individuals, while the rest were released.

For six individuals, a one-month detention was ordered.

Bosniak returnees have been in shock and fear since that day, because the arrests were carried out without any selection, and all those arrested were Bosniaks, and that this is indicative was confirmed by Dragan Mektić, Minister of Security of BiH, who, appearing on a show, said that he also finds it strange that only Bosniaks were arrested.
