(Patria) - Continuing activities to document the unauthorized trafficking of narcotic drugs, police officers of the Department for Combating Drug Abuse, under the supervision of the prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, have carried out an operational action codenamed "Miljacka".
During searches in the area of the municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo, several PVC packages containing substances that resemble speed and marijuana narcotic drugs, with a total mass of over 1,800 grams, a digital scale, mobile phones, and other items of interest to the investigation, were found and seized.
Due to reasonable suspicion of committing the criminal offense of Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs, a man E.S. (1997) from Sarajevo was deprived of his liberty.
The suspect is undergoing criminal processing at the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.
