OPERATION META Eight arrested, two sought

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - During the morning, under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Zenica-Doboj Canton, and by orders of the competent courts, an operation codenamed "Meta" is being carried out.

During the operation, searches were carried out at several locations, all on suspicion of committing the criminal offenses of Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs, Disclosure of Official Secrets, Abuse of Office or Authority, and Unlicensed Medical Practice.

Eight persons with the initials: D.B., P.A., G.M., M.A., Č.A., O.G.Dž., A.M., and S.M. have been deprived of their liberty.

Two persons with the initials O.M. and K.Š. are still being sought, according to the Zenica-Doboj Canton Prosecutor's Office.

During the day, the acting Cantonal Prosecutor will question the suspects and decide on the need for their further detention.
