Operation Magnet in Sarajevo: Searches at multiple locations, arrests for procurement and employment at KCUS

(Patria) - Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency today, as part of the operational action "Magnet", began searching residential and auxiliary facilities and movable property at multiple locations in the Sarajevo area.

The mentioned activities are being carried out due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that criminal offenses of "Association for the Commission of Criminal Offenses" and "Abuse of Position or Authority" prescribed by the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina have been committed.

The searches are being conducted by order of the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo and under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, in cooperation with the Federal Police Administration and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.

Considering that the searches are ongoing, the public will be informed about the final outcome later, it was announced from SIPA. 

As reported by Istraga, SIPA has arrested Faris Gavrankapetanović, former director of KCUS, former Minister of Health Zlatko Vuković, former Prime Minister of KS Fikret Musić, and Muvedeta Čedić Butmir, an employee of KCUS.
