Operation "List II": SIPA conducted searches in the areas of Mostar, Široki Brijeg and Sarajevo

Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) started an operational action codenamed "List II" this morning (March 29, 2017).

SIPA, by order of the Court of BiH, and in cooperation with the Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH and with the help of the Ministries of Interior of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Sarajevo Canton, Herzegovina-Neretva Canton and Tuzla Canton, searched nine locations in the areas of Mostar, Široki Brijeg and Sarajevo. The operation involved ten individuals due to grounds for suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of organized crime, in connection with the criminal offense of illegal trafficking of excise goods.

During the searches, items were found that may serve as evidence in documenting the criminal offenses for which the suspects are charged.

The public will be informed about the more detailed results of the operation after the completion of the activities.
