OPERATION COCO: Five suspects for drug trafficking handed over to the KS Prosecutor's Office

(Patria) - Following criminal processing at the MUP of KS, five suspects arrested in the operation codenamed "Coco" have been handed over to the jurisdiction of the KS Prosecutor's Office. They will be detained for 24 hours, and within that legal period, the prosecutor in charge will decide on further measures.

They are suspected of drug trafficking in the area of KS. During searches conducted in the areas of Centar and Novi Grad, more than 400 grams of the narcotic drug cocaine, more than 300 grams of the narcotic drug marijuana, two pistols, ammunition, a digital scale, mobile phones, and cash in BAM and EUR currencies were found and seized.

A Mercedes passenger vehicle was also seized.

The operational action "Coco" is the result of a multi-month investigation by the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton and the Police Administration of the MUP of KS.
