(Patria) - State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) police officers in the Sarajevo area, within the operational action codenamed "Kafa", apprehended one person on grounds of suspicion of committing the criminal offense of "Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs" under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During the implementation of the aforementioned activities, SIPA police officers searched one residential building and, in the process, discovered and temporarily seized approximately 22 kilograms of a powdery substance resembling the narcotic drug "speed".
The suspect was apprehended and taken to SIPA premises, where criminal processing is underway. Following this, they will be handed over to the further jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton within the statutory deadline.
