Operation 'Hyena': Four arrested, drugs, scales, devices found...

(Patria) - Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), as part of the operational action "Hyena", conducted searches at three locations in the Sarajevo area, and during these searches, items that can serve as evidence in further criminal proceedings were found, namely: about 130 grams of the narcotic drug cocaine, a digital scale for precise weighing of narcotic drugs, several mobile phones, computers and other electronic data storage devices, documentation related to property purchases, and other material evidence.

Four individuals were deprived of liberty on grounds of suspicion of committing criminal offenses of "Organized Crime" in conjunction with criminal offenses of "Unauthorized Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs", "Unauthorized Trafficking in Weapons and Military Equipment and Dual-Use Products", "Money Laundering" under the Criminal Code of BiH, as well as "Infliction of Serious Bodily Injury" and "Damage to Another's Property" under the Criminal Code of FBiH.

The searches were carried out under the order of the Court of BiH and under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, and in cooperation with the Intelligence-Security Agency of BiH, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Zenica-Doboj Canton, and the Federal Police Administration.

This case involves criminal offenses that SIPA police officers, in coordination with the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, have been documenting for a longer period, with information obtained from the analysis of crypto-protected applications Anom and Sky. Cooperation was established with the police authorities of the Kingdom of Spain and the Kingdom of Sweden in this case.

The individuals deprived of liberty, after criminal processing and questioning at the official premises of the State Investigation and Protection Agency, will be handed over to the further jurisdiction of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.
