FUP Operation: Two Arrested for Drugs

Federal Police Administration officers, after a multi-month investigation, today, 03/30/2016, under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, began the implementation of the operational action "Mojmilo" in the area of Sarajevo Canton, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

Within the framework of the mentioned action, and by the orders of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, searches began at two locations in the municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo, and two individuals from Sarajevo with initials A.D. (1990) and A.D. (1983) were deprived of their liberty.

The individuals deprived of their liberty are linked to the criminal offense of "Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs" from Article 238, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

So far, during the searches, approximately 500 grams of an unknown substance resembling the narcotic drug "Speed" and approximately 200 grams of "Cannabis Sativa L" have been found and seized, along with mobile phones, SIM cards, and other items related to the mentioned criminal offense.

After the searches are completed, the individuals deprived of their liberty will be brought to the official premises of the Federal Police Administration for criminal processing, after which they will be handed over to the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton for further jurisdiction within the legal deadline, along with a report on the committed criminal offense.
