ACTION Good people are paying for CT and X-ray scans, laboratory tests, and antigen tests for risk groups

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In order to at least slightly reduce the pressure on the healthcare system in the Sarajevo Canton, which has been the biggest hotspot for coronavirus in recent days, a group of good people who have both the will and the financial means today launched an initiative to pay for examinations in private polyclinics and laboratories for people from risk groups who cannot afford examinations in the private sector.

In just a few hours, dozens of examinations, laboratory tests, and antigen tests have been paid for.

Given the limited number of payments, lists will be made according to possibilities, and the lists will be provided by Maša Kulić from Koc Healthcare, who paid for 10 CT scans for elderly people and risk groups at the Sirius Medical clinic. If you know of risk groups that need a lung scan, you can contact Maša via direct message to make this happen.

The initiator of the action is Ejub Kučuk, who himself recovered from coronavirus and decided with his family to contribute and at least slightly alleviate the burden for at-risk patients and healthcare workers in Covid centers and health centers.

Although the initiators of the action do not seek media exposure but only try to organize an action for the benefit of all, especially patients, they invited everyone who can to support the action. The goal is to enable several thousand examinations in the private sector to relieve the public sector and provide faster results for risk groups.
