Operation Bella: Drug dealer arrested, drugs found

(Patria) - Police officers from the Department for Combating Narcotic Drug Abuse, under the supervision of the acting prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, carried out an operation codenamed "Bella" with the aim of documenting criminal offenses of unauthorized trafficking of narcotic drugs.

During the search of the apartment and accompanying facilities in the area of the municipality of Novi Grad used by the suspect, the following were found and seized: 47 PVC packages with a substance that visually resembles the narcotic drug speed, 29 PVC packages with a substance that visually resembles the narcotic drug hashish, 15 PVC packages with a substance that visually resembles the narcotic drug marijuana, as well as other items of interest to the investigation.

A 35-year-old male, F.O. from Sarajevo, was deprived of his liberty on grounds of suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs (Article 238, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of FBiH). Criminal processing is being carried out on the suspect in the official premises of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, after which he will be handed over to the further jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton.
