OPERATION GUNPOWDER Tomislav Zubak arrested, searches ongoing

(Patria) - In today's operation codenamed 'Gunpowder', Tomislav Zubak, son of Zvonko Zubak, was arrested, and the arrest of several other individuals suspected in this operation is expected.

As announced this morning by the Federal Prosecutor's Office, under the supervision of the acting Federal Prosecutor from the Special Department of the Federal Prosecutor's Office of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, members of the Federal Police Administration have been conducting an operation codenamed 'Gunpowder' since the early morning hours.

The operation is being carried out to document criminal offenses of Abuse of Position or Authority, and Illegal Possession of Weapons or Explosives. The investigation involves several individuals in connection with the sale of assets of PS Vitezit doo Vitez in bankruptcy, intended for the production of armaments and military equipment, and due to criminal offenses suspected to have been committed after the buyer WDG doo Zagreb took possession of this company.

Searches are being conducted at PS Vitez doo in bankruptcy, the legal entity WDG doo Vitez, and at several locations in the area of the Central Bosnia Canton.
