(Patria) - Police officers of the Department for Combating Narcotic Drug Abuse, under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, have realized an operational action codenamed "Aries".
During the searches conducted in the areas of Ilidža and Novo Sarajevo, five complete indoor laboratories for the cultivation and production of marijuana narcotic drugs were found and seized, along with several hundred stalks, more than 2,700 grams of dry herbal matter resembling marijuana narcotic drugs, digital scales, grinders, various equipment necessary for the operation of the laboratories, and numerous other items of interest to the investigation.
Due to grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offense of Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs, I.B.B. (1995) from Sarajevo has been deprived of liberty.
The suspect is in the official premises of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton undergoing criminal processing.
