Ahmić resigned, Amela Kečo heads KS Health Center

SARAJevo, (Patria) – JU KS Health Center has new management since the beginning of March after the previous director Muhamed Ahmić resigned, which the Health Center’s Management Board accepted.

Ahmić confirmed in a phone call with Patria that he resigned himself, and his dismissal was announced anyway, and it was agreed that he would hold the position until the end of February. He did so, and after being dismissed, he returned to his workplace at the Sarajevo Canton Psychiatric Hospital.

The Management Board appointed acting director Dr. Amela Kečo, a family medicine specialist.

Although the KS Government, led by Prime Minister Edin Forto, promised transparency in its work, especially when it comes to personnel appointments, this time it was absent. It is interesting that such information was hidden from the public at a time when we are fighting the coronavirus pandemic and when primary healthcare is one of the key health institutions.
