Agrokomerc Products on the American Market: Exports to the USA Increased Two and a Half Times

Velika Kladuša-based food industry AC FOOD has realized new deliveries of Agrokomerc products to the United States market, increasing exports to this market by two and a half times in the first eight months compared to the same period last year, reports the Patria agency.

Agrokomerc's pickled cucumbers, Tops biscuits, Pettit cookies, and chocolate powder have been placed on the American market.

- We started this year's pilot project of purchasing cucumbers in Velika Kladuša in June with the purchase of about 70 tons of this vegetable. We are currently placing almost all of this purchase on the US market. This concept from farm to table, i.e., from cooperation with contractors and procurement, through processing and placement on domestic and foreign markets, is our imperative. We are satisfied with how the project went and I hope that next year we will be able to significantly increase the purchase quantities, both of cucumbers and other vegetables and fruits. In addition to pickled cucumbers, we also supplied Tops, Pettit cookies, and chocolate powder to the American market - stated Smail Korajlić, director of the company AC FOOD.

Korajlić adds that customer reactions are excellent, and that the Tops biscuits particularly stand out, whose taste Americans find hard to resist.

- Tops is our best-selling brand in this market as well. The quality of Tops is unsurpassed, and it is interesting that all customers, wherever they are, react very quickly - said Korajlić.

Tops has been produced in Velika Kladuša since 1980 and is one of the most famous brands of its kind in the region. AC FOOD has already initiated processes for innovating this brand with new flavors and packaging, in order to further strengthen its market position, but also to meet the expectations of biscuit lovers.

In addition to the USA, AC FOOD also exports to Croatia, Iraq, Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Macedonia, Slovenia, and Austria.
