(Patria) - Deputy Chairperson of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bisera Turković today participated in an extraordinary session of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), which was held in Islamabad.
The session focused on the current situation in Afghanistan. Ministers discussed the responses of the OIC and the entire international community to the humanitarian crisis facing this country, as well as ways to prevent the economic collapse of Afghanistan.
On the sidelines of the session, Minister Turković met with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Jordan, Turkey, Palestine, Kuwait, Indonesia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, and other representatives of states and international institutions and organizations who attended the extraordinary session.
During her visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Minister Turković met yesterday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of this country, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, with whom she discussed bilateral cooperation and the current situation in BiH and Pakistan.
