SARAJEVO, (Patria) - At least 10 people have died in a fire that broke out at a gas station in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, reports Anadolu Agency (AA).
The fire broke out last night at a gas station in the Shakardara region, in the north of Kabul, and was brought under control only this morning, said the spokesman for the Ministry of Interior of Afghanistan, Tarik Aryen.
He confirmed that at least 10 people died and 14 were injured in the fire.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, and Aryen said the flames also engulfed fuel tankers parked at the gas station.
Dozens of tankers and cars were damaged in the fire.
