AC FOOD takes over production of the "Tops" brand

AC FOOD d.o.o. from Velika Kladuša has taken over the production of Agrokomerc's brand "Tops", one of the most beloved biscuits ever produced in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Patria reports.

AC FOOD announces further improvement of the brand and increase of its market value, primarily through innovations, new distribution channels, and increased promotion. Taking over production also means all workers will remain employed.

- Tops biscuits are among the best domestic brands in the biscuit category. Our goal is to reach the top position in the domestic market within the next 12 months. We are convinced that we will succeed in our plans, primarily through investments in even better quality and additional commitment. Also, as part of improving production and increasing capacity, we plan further development of confectionery products, as well as launching a chocolate program - stated Smail Korajlić, director of AC FOOD.

Incidentally, in March, AC FOOD purchased part of Agrokomerc's assets, within a public tender for real estate, including facilities for livestock feed production, fruit and vegetable processing, as well as warehouses.

- We previously announced that our intentions are to launch production at Agrokomerc, employ workers, and return one of the largest food companies in the former Yugoslavia to the path of success. By taking over the production of the Tops brand, the first phase of this project has been completed. We have also already started purchasing strawberries from cooperants, with planned quantities this season of around 200 tons - said Korajlić.

The production of the "Tops" brand was taken over by an Agreement on business transfer between AC Food d.o.o. Velika Kladuša and Gadžo Comerc d.o.o., the company that previously performed this job.
