AC FOOD opens new markets for Agrokomerc products

Two and a half months after taking over production in the confectionery, chocolate, soup, and spice plants, AC FOOD has opened a new market in Iraq, and existing ones such as in Croatia have been expanded with new Agrokomerc products.

Following a trial shipment of petit biscuits, larger quantities are planned for export to a well-known customer in Iraq, i.e., one container per week, with three containers already being prepared for July, containing 85,000 pieces of this product.

Deliveries to the neighboring Croatian market have also increased, with six additional trucks and 350,000 pieces of the best-selling Bosnian biscuit "Tops". Compared to the same period last year, exports to this market have increased by 33 percent. In addition to "Tops", tea biscuits, petit, and ground biscuits are also exported to Croatia.

- We are widely represented in the Croatian market, and our products can be found in Konzum, Metro, Kaufland, Tommy, Plodine, KTC, etc. Iraq is a new market for exports, and we believe that after this, we will be able to consider further strengthening our position in the Middle Eastern markets. Although we have not been able to manage production and sales since the beginning of the year, our total planned export increase by the end of this year should be between 30 and 40 percent. Further export expansion is planned, both in terms of increasing the number of different products and in terms of quantities. It is important to emphasize that customers are extremely satisfied with the quality of everything we have exported so far - stated Smail Korajlić, director of the company AC FOOD from Velika Kladuša.

In addition to Croatia and Iraq, exports have also been realized to Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Macedonia, Slovenia, Austria, and the United States of America.
