25-year-old arrested for multiple criminal offenses: Money and nail file found

On 03/05/2023 at 11:45 AM, the Centar Police Department was informed that in Koševo Street, Centar Municipality Sarajevo, an unknown person committed the criminal offense of robbery against an employee of the sports betting shop "Williams". At that time, the unknown person, threatening with a sharp object, stole a certain amount of money and then fled in an unknown direction. The duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton was informed, and the investigation was carried out by police officers of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.

While working to shed light on the mentioned criminal offense, police officers on the same day at 12:45 PM, in Patriotske lige Street, Centar Municipality Sarajevo, found and apprehended A.P., born in 1998 in Sarajevo, where he resides, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of robbery. During the search, a certain amount of money and a metal nail file were found and confiscated from him.

During the criminal investigation, it was determined that the suspect can be linked to the commission of several criminal offenses in the Sarajevo Canton area from the previous period, namely: two criminal offenses of robbery in the Novi Grad Sarajevo Municipality, one criminal offense of embezzlement in the Novo Sarajevo Municipality, and one criminal offense of theft in the Stari Grad Sarajevo Municipality.

The mentioned person will be handed over to the further jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton along with the report on the committed criminal offenses.
