18 months after court decision: Stanić removed from Feroelektro, workers demand prosecution response!

Finally, a full 18 months after the Court terminated Stanić's purchase agreement for Feroelektro, at yesterday's session of the Feroelektro Shareholders' Assembly, Goran Stanić and his Supervisory Board were dismissed, reports the Patria news agency.

- That infamous Shareholders' Assembly of Feroelektro was held, the 15th extraordinary Assembly. So, after all the obstructions that the Stanićs have been carrying out for the past 18 months, during which he is no longer the majority owner of Feroelektro, as ownership has been registered to the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Goran Stanić and his Supervisory Board were dismissed – says the President of the Feroelektro Trade Union, Senad Smajić.

The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has appointed its Supervisory Board, and now it is a matter of procedure, i.e., the registration of the Supervisory Board by the Securities Register Commission. However, the workers also expect obstruction here.

- We expect obstructions here, because according to the Labor Law, which has so many shortcomings, the newly appointed Supervisory Board, i.e., the decisions of the Assembly and the registration, are carried out by the company secretary. And the secretary is Olivera Galić, who is a blind follower of Stanić, hired by him. She is not even an employee of Feroelektro, and it is questionable what kind of contract she has – added Smajić.

The business report was not adopted, but Stanić has manipulated the losses in the books.

- As of December 31, according to Stanić's balance sheet which he manipulated, the damage amounts to only 11 million KM, but in accounting terms, the real economic value is with an additional zero. We will see further, everything is up to the Securities Commission – added Smajić.

Furthermore, Smajić emphasizes that the workers and union members have hope that the problem will finally be resolved.

- Likewise, we have hope that the courts in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the competent prosecutor's offices, will recognize Stanić's criminal activities and sanction them – added Smajić.

Let us recall, Stanić is close to Dragan Čović, the president of the Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who has spared no means in enabling individuals to plunder the state, so with the generous help of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Goran Stanić was literally allowed to plunder Feroelektro even 18 months after the termination of the privatization contract, and the workers of this company are still in agony.

It is unbelievable that so much time has passed since the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was registered as the owner of Feroelektro's real estate, which is worth hundreds of millions of KM, and Stanić receives two million KM annually from rent.

The state is drowning in debts and problems, and here they have enabled people who are not even owners to manage the real estate and take money, and worst of all, they are creating a huge debt for Feroelektro, i.e., for the Government as the owner.

The debt to workers is growing, VAT is not being settled, and the debt to the Tax Administration is also growing.
