October 15: Day of Mourning in FBiH due to mining accident in Kakanj

The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at today's emergency, telephonically held session, adopted the Decision on declaring October 15, 2015, as the Day of Mourning in the Federation of BiH, due to the mining accident in the "Kakanj" lignite mine, in which four miners lost their lives, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

The Day of Mourning is marked by the mandatory flying of the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina at half-mast, i.e. on the poles of the buildings of the Government of the Federation of BiH and the institutions of FBiH.

On the Day of Mourning, cultural and entertainment programs cannot be held in public places in the Federation of BiH.

Media houses in the territory of FBiH are obliged to harmonize and adapt their program content to the Day of Mourning.
