13 operations: Over 80 activities in the fight against organized crime in six months

The Council of Ministers of BiH adopted the Report of the Ministry of Security on the implementation of the Strategy for the fight against organized crime for the period from July 1 to December 31, 2015, which states that competent institutions in BiH carried out more than 80 activities in the fight against organized crime in six months last year, reports the Patria News Agency.

As stated by the Council of Ministers of BiH, competent police bodies and prosecutor's offices in BiH achieved notable results in the second half of last year in investigations of organized crime and harmonization of regulations within BiH.

- In 13 major operational actions carried out by the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), entity and cantonal ministries of internal affairs in cooperation with competent prosecutor's offices in BiH, dozens of people were deprived of their liberty. Several operations were coordinated in cooperation with competent police bodies and prosecutor's offices of neighboring countries and European Union countries - it was announced from the Council of Ministers.
