Zvizdić, Šarović, Bevanda discuss wiretapping affair in Croatia today

The session of the Executive-Intelligence Committee has begun in the BiH Parliament building, which is expected to take a stance on accusations by Croatian media about alleged wiretapping of Croatian officials and businessmen by OSA, reports Patria.

The committee consists of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdić and his deputies Mirko Šarović and Vjekoslav Bevanda, and the director of OSA Osman Mehmedagić has also arrived at the Parliament building.

From neighboring Croatia, they accused that OSA, on the order of the Bosniak member of the Presidency of BiH Bakir Izetbegović, is wiretapping Croatian officials and businessmen. Such accusations were rejected by the Minister of Security of BiH Dragan Mektić.

- We did not spy, wiretap, or conduct any intelligence activities outside the borders of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The wiretapping affair is a fabricated story, as a response from certain groups that illegally tried to seize important economic capacities within BiH – stated Mektić.

Following today's meeting of the Executive-Intelligence Committee, reactions from the Prime Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina are also expected.
