Zvizdić: Open issues with Croatia need to be resolved

BiH Prime Minister Denis Zvizdić stated that Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković informed him about his visit to BiH and the reasons for it, reports Patria agency.

- We remain committed to strengthening cooperation and respecting sovereignty. Croatia is our neighbor with whom we share the longest border, and all issues between our two countries need to be resolved. As for the statements made by the Croatian president, I believe that due to the constant change of positions and numbers, such statements are politically irrelevant. We do not want to engage in hypothetical speculation. Our competent agencies have responded to the story about "thousands of terrorists," and the danger is neither greater nor lesser than in any other EU country. We exchange all data with EUROPOL – Zvizdić said.

Regarding the visit of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić to BiH on September 7 and 8, Zvizdić said that he, as prime minister, had already managed to pave the way for Serbia to join the EU, which opens up space for regional cooperation among Western Balkan countries intending to join the EU.

- Numerous topics will be opened, such as economic cooperation, removal of customs barriers, joint approaches to third markets, territorial integrity, and strong support for European integration – Zvizdić said.
