Zvizdić: We will continue talks with Croatia, but they must be based on mutual trust

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Zvizdić said that BiH will continue talks with Croatia about the Pelješac Bridge, but that this conversation must be based on mutual understanding and international rules, writes Patria agency.

- Talks with the Republic of Croatia will continue, and it will be necessary, in addition to the issue of the Pelješac Bridge, to finalize the border demarcation process between BiH and Croatia without any further delay, especially regarding the maritime border, which implies establishing an international shipping route and Bosnia and Herzegovina's access to the open sea where the regime of free navigation and communication will apply.

By resolving these issues through appropriate international agreements, the mutual intention to strengthen good neighborly relations would be confirmed, as well as the full readiness for mutual respect of sovereignty and territorial integrity, the concrete implementation of the provisions of the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, as well as other relevant international acts - states the statement of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Zvizdić.
