The mandate holder for the new Serbian government, Aleksandar Vučić, and Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović will meet on Monday, June 20, writes Večernje novosti, reports NAP.
The Serbian Prime Minister and the Croatian President will visit the birthplace of the famous scientist Milutin Milanković in Dalj, where they will lay wreaths, and a joint visit to Vukovar is also planned.
This meeting should open a new chapter in the relations between the two countries and show that Serbia and Croatia are ready to overcome past disagreements that have led to cooperation being reduced to a very low level in recent months, writes Večernje novosti.
The newspaper also writes that it is expected that during the meeting, issues of missing persons, the return of cultural treasures, as well as the protection of Serbian and Croatian minorities will be raised.
