Woman (57) dies in Čačak after hornet sting

(Patria) - In Čačak, a 57-year-old woman died on Friday after being stung by a hornet. She was brought to the emergency room unconscious and without a pulse.

Resuscitation measures were taken during transport and continued at the hospital, but the woman could not be saved.

"The patient brought to the reception was unconscious, without a pulse and breathing. According to the Emergency Service, the patient was unconscious, without a pulse and breathing upon their arrival as well. All resuscitation measures were taken during transport. Cardiopulmonary cerebral resuscitation continued in the emergency department, but unfortunately, after all measures were taken, the patient died," said Marija Stranjanac, spokesperson for the General Hospital in Čačak.
