Željko Komšić: Dragan Čović is the contractor in the project of demolishing BiH carried out by Zagreb

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Regarding the announcement by Dragan Čović about opening parallel diplomatic missions of BiH in Brussels, the president of the Democratic Front and candidate for member of the Presidency of BiH, Željko Komšić, reacted.

- By announcing the opening of parallel diplomatic missions, specifically missions of cantons that he believes will represent the backbone of an emerging para-state, Dragan Čović has once again shown that everything he does, he does in the style of Milorad Dodik, his partner in undermining the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This is an attempt to prepare the ground, not for small, but for big steps, to accept Croatian and Bosniak entities, supposedly even under the flag of the European Union, which would be a prelude to the division, first of the entity, and then of the state.

It is clear that there are no Croatian or Bosniak entities in the FBiH, and as such, meaning exclusively Croatian or exclusively Bosniak, they cannot be represented in Brussels. Therefore, this is a classic abuse of that possibility in order to gain political legitimacy for something else. In order to gain legitimacy not for better representation of the interests of all citizens living in those areas, but for better representation of a policy that undoubtedly aims to finally break up Bosnia and Herzegovina.

When this policy praises the support of the Republic of Croatia for its recent activities, it is actually praising Croatia's support for the intention of breaking up Bosnia and Herzegovina. Unfortunately, Croatia's attitude towards BiH has been exactly like that recently. Official Zagreb continuously undermines the integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a state. Zagreb violates international conventions to the detriment of BiH, as in the case of the Pelješac Bridge, appropriates BiH property in Croatia, files appeals to the Constitutional Court of BiH, and exerts pressure to change the legal and political character of the Federation.

Therefore, Zagreb's latest move, and Dragan Čović's, who is merely a contractor in the demolition of BiH, is part of such a continuous policy.

We must oppose such a policy as citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I am not calling on the Presidency or the remaining officials from BiH institutions to react. It is pointless to call on them again, because for God knows what time, they will do nothing. I call on the citizens to open their eyes and to bring to the institutions of BiH those who will not remain silent or sit idly by in the face of open undermining of the state of BiH - said Željko Komšić.
