KS Assembly Representative Damir Marjanović Becomes Official of the Government of the Republic of Croatia

(Patria) - Damir Marjanović, a representative in the Sarajevo Canton (KS) Assembly and president of the Party for New Generations (ZNG), has been appointed director of the Institute for Anthropology Zagreb, founded by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports of the Republic of Croatia, reports Istraga.ba.

Thus, the president of a party existing in Sarajevo, who serves as a representative in the KS Assembly and a delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliament of FBiH, has become an official of the Government of the Republic of Croatia.

"Dr. sc. Damir Marjanović is appointed Director of the Institute for Anthropology for the period from 01.9.2023 to 31.8.2027. The public tender for the selection of the Director of the Institute for a four-year term was published on February 22, 2023, in Narodne novine," the appointment decision stated.

According to the Statute, the Institute for Anthropology is a public scientific institute of the Republic of Croatia, and the rights and duties of the founder are exercised by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports of the Republic of Croatia.

The decision to appoint Damir Marjanović was made on July 14 this year. It was precisely during this period that Marjanović began negotiations on the reconstruction of the Sarajevo Canton Government, i.e., negotiations on expelling the Party for BiH from the cantonal government.

Although he was the only ZNG representative, Marjanović was joined by Redžo Lemezan in early July, a former representative of the Our Party, of which the newly appointed director of the Institute for Anthropology in Zagreb was previously a member.
In addition to Lemezan, Marjanović was also joined by Admela Hodžić, who had previously left the Party for BiH. Therefore, Lemezan and Hodžić left the ruling Our Party and the Party for BiH to join Marjanović in negotiations with the Trojka parties (SDP, NiP, and Our Party) on expelling SBiH from the KS Government.

And the Party for BiH became "superfluous" after the party's leadership decided not to form a coalition with Trojka and HDZ at the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina level if the OHR imposes a short-term solution that devalues the role of the Vice-President of the Federation from the Bosniak people.
