A Facebook status is enough to arrest a Bosniak, while murders and attacks on returnees in RS remain unsolved!

Within just a few hours, the RS Ministry of Interior reacted based on a post on a Facebook page and arrested returnee Mirsad Omerović in Srebrenica.

So, an accusation from a Facebook page is enough to arrest a Bosniak, while many criminals and war criminals slip through their hands even with open investigations or final verdicts.

Omerović was arrested in Srebrenica on the night between Wednesday and Thursday due to a negative comment about a concert held in Srebrenica on July 11.

The Ministry of Interior stated that police officers of the Srebrenica Police Station on July 12, 2023, at around 10:35 PM deprived M.O. of his liberty due to reasonable suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of "Endangering Security."

The demonization of Bosniaks is once again on the scene, and since the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement to the present day, in the territory of the Republika Srpska, Bosniak returnees have been brutally attacked and killed, their property destroyed, and the murderers and attackers have never been found. These cases have been listed as unsolved for over two decades.

It is important to always remind of them, especially while 'justice' is only being served against Bosniak returnees.
