In the premises of DARS (Družba za avtoceste Republike Slovenije) in Ljubljana, a contract was signed today officially granting the Bosnian-Herzegovinian company Euro-Asfalt approval to commence the construction of the II. a section of the Draženci – Gruškovje highway (towards the border crossing with Croatia), with a length of 5.77 kilometers, the company announced, reports the Patria News Agency.
The project includes the construction of the route, arrangement of the MMP Gruškovje border crossing plateau, the Zakl interchange, arrangement of the plateau for silo installation, rehabilitation of deviations of categorized and uncategorized roads, noise protection, utility arrangements...
The project also envisages the construction of one tunnel, three overpasses, one underpass, eight bridges, 14 culverts, and 19 retaining walls. The value of this contract is 110 million BAM and it is the second contract awarded to the BiH company in Slovenia in just eight months.
We remind you that Euro-Asfalt signed a contract worth 15 million BAM in August last year, which includes the construction of the sub-section AC Draženci MMP Gruškovje, IIB stage – SKLOP 2.
The contract was signed on behalf of DARS by the President of the Management Board, Dr. Tomaž Vidic, who congratulated Euro-Asfalt on this occasion and expressed hope that the contract would be honored in all its points.
Hamed Ramić, Director of Euro-Asfalt, thanked the Slovenian investors for their trust and fairness, adding that he hopes Euro-Asfalt will justify the trust gained from the previous contract signed in August last year, the realization of which is proceeding without problems and according to the planned dynamics.
The deadline for the completion of construction works is 32 months, while the deadline for the tunnel construction is 20 months.
