(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić sent a congratulatory message to the newly elected President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović.

"Dear Mr. Milatović, I congratulate you on your victory in the presidential elections, with the conviction that you will show a firm will to provide the citizens of Montenegro with a life in peace and progress.

In Serbia you will always have a reliable partner in developing political dialogue and strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries, as well as a firm support for a peaceful and stable Balkans.

With congratulations, please accept my greetings and expressions of special respect," Vučić stated in his congratulatory message to Milatović.

Let us recall, the candidate of the Europe Now movement, Jakov Milatović won in the second round of the presidential elections in Montenegro against the current head of state, Milo Đukanović.
