Vučić: For Serbia, gaining even one meter in Kosovo would be a win

LJIG, (Patria) - President Aleksandar Vučić stated that it would be a win for Serbia to gain "one meter in Kosovo" where, as he said, "today we have nothing".

During a visit to the village of Donji Banjani, near Ljig, he said that regarding the Brussels dialogue, he is criticized by those who "established the border between Serbia and Kosovo, and today they want Shkodër and Glogovac".

"The letter to Vladimir Putin was sent by the man who established the border, and we would call it an 'administrative line' at Brnjak, in his municipality of Zubin Potok. He and his government established the border at Jarinje, and today they say: 'We want Shkodër too, give us Glogovac anyway', and then you wonder if that's realistic," said Vučić, Beta reported.

Assessing that the previous government, until 2012, put a "stamp and wax seal on Kosovo's independence", Vučić said that the current government is fighting to "get what we can for our people and our country".

"Everything they lost, if we gain one meter, it's a win, because today we have nothing. People should have confidence in their leadership which works on this issue day and night. Today we are not completely excluded from it, and until 2012, they were just waiting for us to sign the independence that was given to Kosovo," said Vučić, Patria reported.
