Vučić to visit Croatia on February 12 and 13

BELGRADE/ZAGREB, (Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated today that he will visit Croatia on February 12 and 13 at the invitation of Croatian President Kolinda Grabar Kitarović.

At a joint press conference with the President of the European Parliament, Antonio Tajani, Vučić said that he will talk with Croatian officials and representatives of the Serbian people in Croatia.

"I believe it is important that we talk and resolve issues between the two countries. It is important that we think about what we need and what we can do together," said Vučić.

He said that he will discuss with Croatian officials what needs to be done to help Serbs in Croatia, emphasizing that he will ask for assistance from the local authorities in reviving Serbian villages and resolving issues of missing persons and property.

Vučić said he will go to Croatia with the desire to do something good for "our children and the future".

"I hope we will move things forward a bit; we cannot expect or fear anything worse than this situation," said Vučić.

Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović yesterday invited Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić to visit Croatia in mid-February.

Vučić stated that he will talk with the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, tomorrow, and soon with the Serb member of the BiH Presidency, Mladen Ivanić.
