Vučić: Serbia supports the integrity of BiH and RS within BiH

BELGRADE, (Patria) - In an address after a meeting with the President of Republika Srpska Željka Cvijanović and BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik and Serbian Patriarch Irinej, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said that his request was to take care of preserving peace. The meeting was also attended by the President of the New Serbian Democracy Andrija Mandić, the leader of True Montenegro Marko Milačić, and the President of the Democratic People's Party Milan Knežević. Ministers in the Government of Serbia Nebojša Stefanović, Ivica Dačić, Goran Knežević, Aleksandar Vulin, as well as the Secretary General to the President of the Republic Nikola Selaković were also present.

Vučić emphasized that he is concerned about the situation in BiH following the decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH.

"I am not threatening, nor playing games, nor blackmailing, nor asking for anything. I understand what an attack on identity and property means, President Dodik informed us that in the coming period they want to take forests and water and kindergartens and schools, but I asked him to do everything they do legally and democratically through institutions without any wider destabilization of the entire region," said Vučić, adding that what is being done to the Serbian people is unjust.

He stated that Serbia will continue to support Republika Srpska and our people in Montenegro.

"Republika Srpska has never had the support of Serbia like it does today. Serbia supports the Dayton Peace Agreement, which means the integrity of BiH and, understandably, the integrity of Republika Srpska within BiH. We have an agreement of this kind, so that there is not a single word, even when there are things we disagree on, that we would say a bad word. We are too small to behave differently," said Vučić.
