Vučić: Serbia will give its verdict on the SDA Declaration

(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated that Serbia will give its verdict on the SDA's Program Declaration, which envisages a change of the Constitution and the establishment of a "republic of BiH", and pointed out that any kind of game around the dismantling of Dayton principles would mean major problems.

Vučić says that the SDA's Program Declaration is a much more important document than some would like to present it as, and that Serbia will take it seriously.

"We are one of the signatory countries that is a guarantor of the implementation of the Dayton Peace Agreement, and peace and stability are most important to us. Any kind of game around the dismantling of Dayton principles would mean major problems for each of us," Vučić told reporters.

He emphasizes that any solution in BiH must be the result of an agreement among the Serbian, Croatian and Bosniak peoples, because anything else would not lead in the right direction.

Vučić says he does not want to give hasty assessments of the SDA's Program Declaration, and added that Serbia has never interfered in relations in BiH, not even when it came to NATO membership, just as it did not interfere in North Macedonia and Montenegro.
