Vučić welcomed the agreement between Dodik and Izetbegović

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić said today that he is satisfied with the agreement between the President of Republika Srpska and SNSD, Milorad Dodik, and the Chairman of the BiH Presidency and President of SDA, Bakir Izetbegović, and stated that Serbia supports this agreement, reports the Patria News Agency.

- This is an important agreement towards the stability of both BiH and Republika Srpska. We will support any agreement reached by the people of BiH - Vučić said at a press conference at the Government of Serbia.

He stated that the situation in the region is obviously very complicated, but that Serbia will do everything it can to preserve peace and stability.

At the meeting held in East Sarajevo on Sunday, organized by the Head of the EU Delegation to BiH, Lars Gunnar Wigemark, Dodik and Izetbegović, along with the Prime Minister of RS, Željka Cvijanović, and the Prime Minister, Denis Zvizdić, reached an agreement on the Coordination Mechanism and signed a Letter of Intent for the International Monetary Fund.
