Vučić reiterated to Dodik that Serbia does not support the referendum

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, met today with the President of the Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, with whom he discussed the further improvement of bilateral relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republika Srpska, particularly highlighting the construction of infrastructure projects, roads and bridges, connecting the Republic of Serbia and the Republika Srpska, as well as joint investments in cultural and educational content.

Vučić and Dodik also discussed topics significant for peace and stability in the region, agreeing that peace is the most important condition for progress and a secure future in the Western Balkans.

Dodik informed Vučić once again that the referendum in Republika Srpska will certainly be held under these conditions, unless the Constitutional Court of BiH changes or amends its decision in the meantime and returns the decision-making to the beginning.

After the meeting, Dodik stated that although there is no agreement with Vučić on the referendum, the dialogue does not end and will continue on Sunday when the Serbian Prime Minister visits RS for the opening of the Banja Luka – Doboj highway section.
