Vučić begins forming the People's Movement for the State

(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić is beginning the formation of the People's Movement for the State and will visit all parts of the country in the coming period, it was confirmed today to Tanjug at the Presidency.

President Vučić will, as stated, seek the people's support for the defense of Serbia and will begin talks with the population in southern Serbia, most likely in Vranje, starting Saturday, March 11. This is linked to the agreement between Serbia and Kosovo, as Vučić has long been under attack from both the opposition and parts of the public. 

In September last year, Vučić announced the creation of a large pro-state and national movement for the survival and progress of Serbia within the next six months. The opposition assessed this move as marketing and rebranding of the party.

The president of the Serbia Center movement, Zdravko Ponoš, assessed that Vučić's announcement of creating a large pro-state and national movement represents a "change of feathers" and an attempt to wash himself of responsibility for what he has done and to throw his bad associates into that dirty water.
