(Patria) - The Ecological Uprising movement announced that it had obtained an audio recording from 2017, which, according to them, "clearly hears" Aleksandar Vučić telling the former director of Tanjug, Branka Đukić, and now his advisor, "what question to ask him".

The recording, published on YouTube, can be heard as Vučić tells Đukić on two occasions to ask him a question about how he comments on the events in Macedonia and what his message is to the citizens.

The entire Vučić's answer cannot be heard in the recording, but in the media from April 2017, there are quotes of that statement, which reads:

"As the Prime Minister of Serbia and as the elected President of the Republic of Serbia, I have always done everything to maintain the best relations between Belgrade and Skopje, and between Serbia and Macedonia.

I think the citizens of Macedonia know this well and respect the way the Republic of Serbia has treated the citizens of Macedonia, but also the state of Macedonia.

I am very concerned about all the events tonight, and my only message is, and I think people in Macedonia know well that it comes from their sincere friend, to ask them to resolve all problems and disagreements peacefully.

Yes, if I have any right, I say that calming the situation is certainly in the best interest of both Macedonia and its citizens, and all other matters and all other problems can be resolved at the negotiating table, peacefully, in a peaceful atmosphere.

This is no longer just a Macedonian problem, but it is becoming a problem for all of us who live here, and it is better to stop all problems immediately and ensure peace and stability for our children.

And therefore, I ask everyone in Macedonia, both those I know, and some are friends, but also those I don't know, to understand this message as well-intentioned and to do everything to restore peace and security for all citizens of Macedonia, and in Serbia you will always have a sincere and loyal friend".
