Vučić dissatisfied with security agencies' work: They told me five versions of the case

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić will resign as head of the Bureau for Coordination of Security Services because the security services have not convinced him that they "have the reins in their hands", writes "Večernje novosti", reports Patria.

Večernje novosti, in its Tuesday edition, states that Aleksandar Vučić will inform the President of Serbia about this step in the coming days and that it is "astonishing" that the security services have told him five versions of the case since the discovery of the weapons.

Vučić said in Hamburg that he fears state bodies will have difficulty discovering the individuals who left the weapons near his family home in Jajinci, near Belgrade.

"I believe the services and the state of Serbia, but I fear that we will have difficulty discovering who the individuals were who brought those weapons there and for what purpose they were brought," Vučić said, adding that the case seems too complicated to be easily resolved.

Minister of Internal Affairs Nebojša Stefanović said that partial DNA traces of at least three individuals have been identified through forensic examination of the weapons and ammunition found near Vučić's family home in Jajinci, near Belgrade.

Stefanović said that not all traces were found on both the weapons and the ammunition, and that some were found on top of others, making it difficult to isolate a single DNA that could be used for comparison, and that discussions with experts led to the conclusion that it is unlikely that someone brought the weapons to the forest in Jajinci just to leave them there.

Near Vučić's family home in Jajinci, near Belgrade, crates of weapons were discovered on Saturday: a "zolja" rocket launcher, four hand grenades, 100 rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition, four or five bullets for automatic weapons, and 15 bullets of unknown caliber.
