Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić says that as Prime Minister, he believes it would not be morally correct to propose sanctions against the leadership or the President of Republika Srpska, reports the Patria news agency.
Responding to a journalist's question regarding the announcement by the US and EU that they would impose sanctions against the President of RS Milorad Dodik, he stated that neither Washington nor Brussels have taken any measures yet.
- If they take measures, we will consider our steps. Since the Government conducts internal and foreign policy in accordance with the Constitution, as Prime Minister, I do not think it would be moral or normal to propose the introduction of any sanctions against the leadership of RS or its president, Vučić explained.
At the same time, he stated that he is ready to bear all the consequences that such a decision would cause.
