SARAJEVO, (Patria) - We did our best to preserve peace, but no matter how hard we tried to be a serious and responsible partner to the Western powers, they never looked at us that way, said Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, in a public address regarding the events in Kosovo.
"We were always the culprits, even when we had no fault whatsoever," Vučić added.
The President of Serbia stated that he "now knows that the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has the support of someone in the West."
"Our country has truly done everything to ensure that we preserve peace and that the country progresses at the fastest pace in history. However, no matter how hard we tried to be a serious and responsible partner to the Western powers, we are on the European path, I am telling you quite openly, they never looked at us that way unless we unconditionally served their every request, we would always be the culprits, even when we had no fault whatsoever. We have no way out anymore," Vučić emphasized.
According to him, "no Albanian was injured."
Vučić said that yesterday, brother and sister, Dara and Kristijan, in the village of Žitkovac, municipality of Zvečan, were attacked by the Kosovo police. He pointed out that he spoke with their mother, Marija, this morning.
"When their mother Marija arrived, she found her son being held on his knees on the ground, and her daughter barefoot, who collapsed several times from stress," said Vučić.
He pointed out that Kosovo police officers said they were stopping everyone with helmets and caps.
"Children aged 15 and 17 were riding ATVs, and they thought they were serious terrorists, so they decided to confront those children, like in the movies. They have a younger brother too, you can imagine the stress that family is under," added Vučić.
We remind you that the brother and sister, K. R. (15) and D. R. (17), were beaten by members of the Kosovo police Rosu last night in Žitkovac near Zvečan, reports RTRS.
The Kosovo police have denied this information.
Yesterday, Dalibor Spasić was arrested at Jarinje, suspected of attacking journalists, announced the Minister of Internal Affairs in Pristina, Đeljalj Svečlja.
