Vučić after meeting with Dodik: We will accept the agreement from BiH

BELGRADE, (Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said today after meeting with Milorad Dodik, member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, that he will accept any agreement of the three peoples in BiH.

He said that the Dayton Agreement is historically important and the only possible solution. All new ideas can only pass with the consent of all peoples, he added.

''The Serbian people live in the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, they live very poor, and therefore it is our common obligation to do everything we can to help our people, and therefore I am proud to say that we have fulfilled what we promised'', he added, N1 reports.

Then he revealed details of the conversation with Dodik.

''We discussed the preservation of the Dayton Peace Agreement. It is an agreement of historical significance and the only possible solution in which everyone lost, but everyone also gained. I said, as far as the position of the Republic of Serbia is concerned, that we will accept the agreement of the three peoples. No one else, nor two peoples, can impose it on one people. No new plans, no ideas, nor anyone from the outside can do it without the consent of all three peoples'', he said, emphasizing the great importance of building a bridge and border crossing between Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in Bratunac.

Vučić added that part of the conversation was also dedicated to the situation in Montenegro.

''We discussed the situation in the region. We supported the efforts of the Serbian Orthodox Church to preserve our holy sites in Montenegro. We believe that such an agreement will be reached'', he added, thanking Dodik for the exceptional cooperation.
