US Vice President Joseph Biden arrived on a visit to Serbia where he spoke with Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić. After the meeting, Vučić expressed his great concern about the security situation in the region.
- I am very concerned about possible destabilization in the region. Conflicts happen very easily. One spark and we are all in chaos. We are sure that the United States wants a stable and peaceful Balkans, and Serbia will do everything to contribute to that - said Vučić after the meeting with Biden.
Biden said he was a witness to great progress in a short period.
- I think we have achieved a lot. You and I have known each other for a long time. President Barack Obama and I respect the leadership you have shown in challenging situations, especially in relations with Croatia. Serbia represents a key cornerstone, politically and economically, for the entire region - Biden conveyed.
