Vučić: It's easiest to blame Belgrade, but that no longer works

(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said that many expected him to reprimand member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik, but that it never crossed his mind to do so.

"It never crossed my mind to do that," Vučić told reporters last night in Brussels regarding Dodik's statement that Republika Srpska will become independent and will find a way to unite with Serbia.

He stated that Serbia supports the territorial integrity of BiH, as well as the integrity of RS within BiH, but that some people take it upon themselves to dictate Serbia's policy and determine what it should be.

"The fact that people show dissatisfaction with Belgrade and try to say that Belgrade is behind everything... Well, I did not make the decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH, nor the Law on Freedom of Religion, nor did anyone from Belgrade, but others did," Vučić emphasized.

He said that his approach is correct, precise, and accurate, and that no one should tell him how to do his job, Belgrade media reported.

Vučić stressed that the same approach from the 1990s and 2000s is being repeated - it's easiest to blame Belgrade, but that no longer works.
