Vučić: I have repeated a million times that Serbia respects the territorial integrity of BiH

(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated in Berlin that Serbia respects the territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina and has never denied it, and reminded that BiH has not recognized the independence of Kosovo.

He asked if he should now explain to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, who said he was afraid of redrawing borders, that Serbia is not for redrawing borders and respects the territorial integrity of BiH, N1 reported, as carried by NAP.

"As far as I know, BiH has not recognized the independence of Kosovo. Bećirović could have meant one set of borders - that Kosovo is part of Serbia, so there are no redrawn borders. Thank you, Bećirović, for respecting Serbia's borders. And if he meant that there are no redrawn borders in the sense that Kosovo is an independent state, then his principle is strange, that borders can be redrawn for Serbia, but not for others," said Vučić. 

When a journalist in Berlin stated that some media outlets had reported on the Economist's writing that he wanted a demarcation with Pristina in order to annex the BiH entity of Republika Srpska to Serbia, Vučić said that "they find some analysts who tell lies."

"Have I repeated a million times that Serbia respects the territorial integrity of BiH? Has it ever happened that I denied it? Never," he stated, adding that, on the other hand, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama often talks about unification with Kosovo, and no one says anything about it, while they react to what is not true.
