VUČIĆ MAKES DECISION Serbian Army increases number of its special units

(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has made a decision to increase the number of special units, published in the Official Gazette.

As stated, the decision was made based on Article 24, paragraph 4 of the Law on the President of the Republic and Article 17, point 3 of the Law on the Serbian Army.

As stated, it is necessary to carry out the organizational upgrade of the peacetime and wartime organization of the special forces of the Serbian Army to the projected strength.

For the implementation of this decision, the Minister of Defense and the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Army will adopt the necessary acts.

The decision will enter into force on the day of its adoption, February 13, 2023.
