Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić confirmed that he will attend the marking of the Republic of Srpska Day on January 9. He emphasized that he will never interfere in the internal political relations within the Republic of Srpska, nor in similar relations in the Federation of BiH, reports the Patria News Agency.
He stressed that he respects Milorad Dodik, Željka Cvijanović, Mladen Ivanić, and Mladen Bosić, whom he can call his friends.
- But, my friends also include, how should I put it, Čović and Bevanda and Izetbegović and Fahrudin Radončić... All of them... So I have no desires or intentions other than to preserve full stability for BiH, the Republic of Srpska, and the entire region - said Vučić.
This all happens less than a month after the decision of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina to declare January 9, Republic of Srpska Day, unconstitutional. Member of the Presidency of BiH Bakir Izetbegović and Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdić have already stated that it would not be good for Vučić to come to Banja Luka on January 9, as it would mean he does not respect the decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH, which declared January 9 an illegal holiday.
